On Sunday, January 3, 2010 Bishop John David Schofield formally called the Christian Community of San Marcos into existance.   With Fr. Dennis Kelly as the Rector and Fr. Eric Menees as Chaplain nine people took vows for a year as provisional members of the newly created religious order.  In addition another five people made promises for a year to serve as associate members of CCSM.  Bishop Schofield will serve as the Bishop Visitor of CCSM and Bishop William Thompson of the Diocese of Western Anglicans will serve as the Alternate Bishop Visitor.
