A Single Prayer of Thanksgiving, Made Together
One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD And to meditate in His temple. -Psalm 27:4-
A Single Prayer of Thanksgiving...
Here at Anglican Church of the Resurrection, worship is central to everything else we do. Each week, worship binds us closer to our Lord and to each other through scripture readings, Biblical teaching, prayer, confession, joyful song, and Holy Communion.
Our worship style is a mix of traditional and more contemporary elements which follow the language and rubrics of the Anglican Book of Common Worship while reflecting modes and expressions more familiar to a broad audience. ...Made Together Worship is very much a family production at Resurrection. We believe that our weekly celebration, just like most things in life, is enriched by wide participation. It can take between 30-40 unique contributors each weekend just to put on two services. That means everyone has a part to play whether it's in music, ushering, greeting, altar ministry, audio-visuals, or helping with bulletins. We would love to have you involved with us. Contact any of the ministry leaders below to get started. Monthly Server Schedule Resurrection Volunteers. Each month, on or around the 20th, the server schedule is posted here in PDF format. A Single Prayer of Thanksgiving made through Music...
Music is an essential part of our worship of the Lord. King David encouraged music in worship when he wrote “Make a joyful noise to the Lord…” (Psalm 100) We at Resurrection take David’s advice to heart and seek to worship the Lord through various forms of music. The Resurrection Choir is a worship, not performance based, choir and sings a large selection of hymns from contemporary to the most traditional to original compositions using a wide range of instruments including keyboard, guitar, flute, violin, drums, chimes and xylophone. The Resurrection Choir meets on Thursday evenings for practice and is open to all members from High School to 100 years of age. During the summer months the Resurrection Family Choir gathers for potluck fellowship and rehearsal and presents an anthem once a month. This choir is open to the entire congregation no matter your age or ability.
