Evangelism Ministry at Resurrection

Resurrection is a Great Commission Church.  This means that we take seriously the Great Commission our Lord found in Matthew 28:19 when Jesus said: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

As a Great Commission Church Resurrection encourages all of her members to share their faith in Jesus Christ and invite neighbors, family & friends to worship and into a saving relationship with the Lord.

At Resurrection our Evangelism Ministry includes the Greeters on Sunday morning who welcome everyone to church and especially seek to connect with first time visitors as they come to worship.

That first time meeting is followed up with a home visit to drop off freshly baked bread and literature about Resurrection and her ministries and to invite the individual and their family back for worship the following week.

The Evangelism Ministry at Resurrection is also responsible for advertisement in the community through signage on our building to advertisements in the local papers.

The Evangelism Ministry also hosts a quarterly Welcome Luncheon for new members and inquirers to the faith.
